Who Are We?
We have worked in a number of healthcare environments ranging from large hospitals to small independent practices.
Our mission has always been to help the vulnerable, and some of our previous work has been in some very deprived areas.
In 2005 our founder was given the opportunity to work as a prison Optician and very quickly realised that optometry in prisons was of a very low-level service, with some services only offering a choice of 2 frames.
Working relentlessly over the past 17 years we have brought Forensic Eyecare into the prison and mental health domain and our services are now being provided at all levels of prison categories as well as all levels of Mental health hospitals including high secure.
Going forward our aim is to keep raising the bar of optometry within the secure sector.
What Do We Do?
Forensic Eyecare provides a highly qualified and experienced team of opticians who have practised in a wide range of optical settings, including prisons.
In addition to our team’s wide range of general optician skills, we understand issues that may arise within the context of the prison and secure environments and are very well placed to offer a number of solutions.
